Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview
SkillFlow provides AI-powered Skills that are digital, consumable products. Because AI Skill executions are processed immediately and produce instant results, our refund policy reflects the nature of these digital services. We strive to be fair and transparent in all refund decisions.
2. Per-Execution Purchases
When you purchase a single execution of a Skill, the AI processes your input and delivers a result immediately. Refunds for per-execution purchases are available in the following circumstances:
- Technical failure: The Skill failed to produce any output due to a system error (not user input error). Eligible for a full refund within 7 days.
- Duplicate charge: You were charged more than once for the same execution. Eligible for a full refund of the duplicate charge.
- Unauthorized transaction: A purchase was made without your authorization. Contact us immediately.
Not eligible for refund:
- The AI output did not meet your expectations (AI results are inherently variable).
- You provided incorrect or incomplete input to the Skill.
- You changed your mind after the execution was completed.
3. Subscription Plans
Subscription plans provide recurring access to a Skill on a monthly basis. The following policies apply:
- Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will retain access until then.
- No partial refunds: We do not provide refunds for unused portions of a billing period after cancellation.
- First-time subscribers: If you cancel within 48 hours of your first subscription purchase and have not used the Skill, you may request a full refund.
- Price changes: If we increase the subscription price, you will be notified at least 30 days in advance. You may cancel before the new price takes effect.
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund:
- Email [email protected] with the subject line "Refund Request".
- Include your account email, the transaction date, the Skill name, and the reason for the refund.
- We will review your request and respond within 5 business days.
Approved refunds are processed through Stripe and typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
5. Chargebacks
We encourage you to contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank. Chargebacks incur fees that impact both the Platform and Creators. If you file a chargeback for a legitimate transaction, your account may be suspended pending investigation.
6. Creator Payouts and Refunds
When a refund is issued to a Buyer, the corresponding Creator payout is adjusted accordingly. Creators are notified of all refunds affecting their Skills. If a Creator's payout has already been processed, the refund amount may be deducted from future payouts.
7. Consumer Protection
This refund policy does not limit any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws, including the Brazilian Consumer Defense Code (Código de Defesa do Consumidor — CDC) and European consumer protection directives. If mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction provide greater refund rights, those rights shall prevail.
