Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: March 30, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs the use of the SkillFlow platform ("Platform") by all users, including Creators who publish AI skills and Buyers who use them. This AUP is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service. Violations of this AUP may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination.

1. Prohibited Content and Activities

You may not use the Platform to create, publish, distribute, or facilitate any of the following:

1.1 Malicious Code and Cyber Threats

Skills that generate, distribute, or facilitate malware, viruses, trojans, ransomware, spyware, keyloggers, rootkits, or any other malicious software. This includes skills that instruct AI models to produce code designed to exploit vulnerabilities, create backdoors, perform unauthorized access to systems, exfiltrate data, or disrupt computer operations. Skills designed for prompt injection attacks, jailbreaking other AI systems, or bypassing security controls are also prohibited.

1.2 Fraud, Phishing, and Social Engineering

Skills designed to generate phishing emails, fake login pages, social engineering scripts, scam content, impersonation material, or any content intended to deceive individuals into revealing sensitive information, making unauthorized payments, or taking actions against their interest.

1.3 Illegal Activities

Skills that facilitate, promote, or provide instructions for illegal activities, including but not limited to: drug manufacturing or trafficking, weapons development or procurement, human trafficking, money laundering, tax evasion, gambling (where prohibited), or circumvention of export controls.

1.4 Harmful and Abusive Content

Skills that generate content promoting violence, terrorism, hate speech, harassment, bullying, discrimination based on protected characteristics, self-harm, suicide, or disordered eating. Skills that produce non-consensual intimate imagery, child sexual abuse material (CSAM), or any sexual content involving minors are strictly prohibited and will be reported to authorities.

1.5 Privacy Violations

Skills designed to collect, aggregate, or expose personal information without consent, including facial recognition databases, surveillance tools, doxxing tools, or skills that infer sensitive personal attributes (health conditions, sexual orientation, political beliefs, financial status) from public data.

1.6 Intellectual Property Infringement

Skills that reproduce copyrighted material without authorization, generate content that infringes trademarks, or facilitate plagiarism. Skills that bypass digital rights management (DRM) or circumvent technological protection measures are also prohibited.

1.7 Deceptive Practices

Skills with misleading descriptions, inflated performance claims, hidden functionality, or that behave differently than advertised. Skills that manipulate Platform metrics (fake reviews, artificial usage inflation) or engage in spam are prohibited.

1.8 Unauthorized Professional Advice

Skills that provide tailored medical, legal, financial, or other licensed professional advice without appropriate disclaimers and without involvement of licensed professionals. General informational content is permitted, but skills must not present AI outputs as professional advice.

2. Creator Responsibilities

By publishing a skill on SkillFlow, Creators represent and warrant that:

  • The skill does not contain, generate, or facilitate any malicious code, malware, or content designed to harm users' devices, data, or systems.
  • The skill does not infringe upon any third-party intellectual property rights, including patents, copyrights, trademarks, or trade secrets.
  • The skill's description, tagline, and documentation accurately represent its functionality and outputs.
  • The skill complies with all applicable laws and regulations in the jurisdictions where it is made available.
  • The Creator will promptly address any reported issues, vulnerabilities, or inaccuracies in the skill.
  • The Creator has the legal right and authority to publish the skill and grant the licenses described in the Terms of Service.

3. Buyer Responsibilities

Buyers are responsible for using skills in compliance with this AUP and all applicable laws. Buyers must not use skills to generate content that violates this policy, even if the skill itself is compliant. Buyers acknowledge that AI-generated outputs may contain errors and should be reviewed before use in production environments or critical decisions.

4. Reporting Violations

If you encounter a skill or user that violates this AUP, please report it immediately using the "Report" button on the skill page or by contacting us at [email protected]. We investigate all reports and take appropriate action, which may include content removal, account suspension, or referral to law enforcement.

5. Enforcement

SkillFlow reserves the right to remove any skill, suspend any account, or take any other action we deem necessary to enforce this AUP. We may act proactively or in response to reports. Our enforcement actions include but are not limited to:

  • Warning: First-time minor violations may result in a warning and request to modify the skill.
  • Content Removal: Skills that violate this AUP will be removed from the Platform.
  • Account Suspension: Repeated or serious violations may result in temporary account suspension.
  • Permanent Termination: Severe violations (malware, CSAM, fraud) result in immediate and permanent account termination.
  • Legal Action: We may pursue legal remedies and/or report violations to law enforcement authorities.

6. Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and our commitment to platform safety, SkillFlow maintains a repeat infringer policy. Users who receive three (3) valid violation notices within a twelve (12) month period will have their account permanently terminated. This policy applies to both copyright infringement and violations of this AUP. We track all reports, warnings, and enforcement actions to ensure consistent application of this policy.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this AUP as new threats emerge and platform capabilities evolve. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users and posted on this page. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated AUP.
